Department Activities

 

Research Support:

  •  identification and analysis of climate risks and the development of tools to enhance the economic and environmental resilience of agribusiness under global and wartime challenges;
  • development of scientific and methodological frameworks for improving institutional support for the innovative development of agricultural enterprises;
  • theoretical and methodological aspects of the formation and implementation of an environmentally balanced model of economic development of the agricultural sector and rural areas;
  • scientific foundations for the introduction of environmental management and auditing in the water management sector;
  • substantiation of approaches to increasing the economic efficiency of agricultural production in irrigated areas.

 

Analytical Research:

  •  analysis and implementation of digital innovations, including assessment of the effectiveness of agricultural drones, digital platforms, and satellite monitoring to increase productivity and competitiveness of agricultural enterprises;
  • development and implementation of solutions for integrating artificial intelligence into production processes, accounting, and strategic management; consulting on the implementation of circular economy principles;
  • development of software and information systems for innovative crop production technologies.

 

Scientific, Methodological, and Applied Publications on the economic efficiency of irrigated agriculture and the rational use of irrigated lands:

  • applied scientific recommendations for improving the economic efficiency of agricultural production under irrigation based on innovative approaches;
  • methodology for assessing the effectiveness of investments in the innovative development of the agricultural sector;
  • scientific recommendations providing theoretical justification for promising areas of institutional transformation in irrigated agriculture;
  • applied recommendations for improving organizational and economic mechanisms of strategic management for the sustainable development of rural areas;
  • methodological guidelines for calculating the economic effect of crop cultivation using innovative technologies and irrigation methods;
  • methodological recommendations for developing institutional mechanisms to ensure environmental safety in irrigated agriculture.

 theoretical substantiation of the impact of artificial intelligence on the eco-innovative development of agriculture under climate change;

analysis of international experience and development of a concept for integrating artificial intelligence into agro-ecosystem management in Ukraine;

improvement of the agricultural innovation system in the context of climate change and post-war recovery;

modeling economically valuable indicators of promising perennial niche crops under changing climatic conditions;

justification of the use of satellite monitoring data to assess water availability for agricultural crops.
