Main Areas of Scientific Activity

• Implementation of a marketing system in agriculture aimed at increasing production efficiency, promoting the Institute’s innovative products, and enhancing their competitiveness on domestic and international markets;
• Development of marketing strategies, tactics, and tools for the Institute’s innovation activities;
• Registration and systematization of inventions, utility models, and plant varieties;
• Formation of the Institute’s innovation portfolio and order portfolio;
• Research into the effectiveness of applying innovative crop production technologies in farms with different levels of technological capacity, size, and specialization;
• Development of scientific and methodological recommendations for agro-industrial entities (AIC) to improve the efficiency of implementing the Institute’s scientific and innovative developments, along with their scientific support and consulting services;
• Analysis of technology transfer through bilateral or multilateral agreements between natural and legal entities of different ownership forms within the AIC, establishing property rights and obligations regarding technologies or their objects;
• Publishing activities of the Institute;
• Compilation and editing of the Institute’s professional publications: the Interagency Thematic Scientific Collection “Irrigated Agriculture” (Category B) and the scientific journal “Agrarian Innovations” (Category B).

Key Scientific Achievements

• Developed effective mechanisms for organizing and coordinating interactions among producers of high-tech products and services, innovation infrastructure, and AIC entities in the southern region for efficient transfer of scientific and innovative developments;
• Conducted analysis and generalization of long-term experimental field data of the Institute of Climate-Smart Agriculture of NAAS, and developed methodological recommendations and procedures for their transfer into agro-industrial production;
• Established scientific support for an integrated service and information system for AIC entities in the southern region, with feedback mechanisms based on the principles of Total Quality Management (TQM);
• Created a database of innovative technologies for cultivating grain, industrial, forage, vegetable crops, and potatoes under irrigated conditions in southern Ukraine.
